Coruscuant Standard Calender

Used since the forming of the Republic, the Coruscant Standard Calender or CSC is the galactic standard of time measurement today, based off the the Coruscian celestial trip. With planetary orbits and rotations so varied, if a sentient being affiliated with the Empire refers to ‘Time’ without a stated deviation, it is assumed they are referring to CSC.

Standard measurements:

  • 369 days=1 year
  • 60 seconds=1 minute
  • 60 minutes=1 hour
  • 24 hours=1 day
  • 5 days=1 week
  • 7 weeks=1 month
  • 35 days=1 month
  • 10 months + 3 festival weeks + 4 holiday days=1 year

(1)While under rule of the Republic, the galaxy officially viewed months as their sequential classification, the old Tapani names given to months and holidays was something of an unofficial, official name. Under the Empire, all records indicate months only as numerical.
