Episode I
New Man

Summary: Having turned over a new leaf, Sal has become a (mostly) responsible business man who is on the up and up, and (mostly) sober. He is locked in an Imperial quarantine on the planet Kallenko, when he meets up with an eccentric and desperate Rodian named Keoda. Sal soon learns that Keoda is in fact the reason for the lockdown and the manhunt, and he soon finds out why; Keoda used to be a Jedi.
Keoda and Sal manage to maneuver themselves into a position where they have clearance to get off world with a ‘perishable goods’ cargo manifest, and after an extremely close shave with a local thief and four noisy Imperials, the No Man’s Servant II sails past the blockade and out for the safety of the black.
Whatever comes next, Sal’s stint on the ‘up and up’ may be coming to an end.

Broken Pieces
The Grand Conspiracy

The Corellian Brotherhood was destroyed.

What had started out as a series of cases, and a quiet life on a tiny moon had become so much more. Carson Black, a former Agent in the Brotherhood crime syndicate was in fact an agent of the Imperial Secret Service; a simple, official sounding name that covered all manner of sins.

Interlude: Insurance

The insurance business is a scam.

Back when they took a part of my paycheck and contributed it to my CorSec health insurance plan, I didn’t really think about it and used it slightly less. In the greater galaxy, there is little actual insurance though some slick bankers will try to tell you otherwise. Just save your money for a rainy day, that’s what Uncle Sal says.

I’d spent the better part of a cycle kicking around the Mid and Outer Rims trying to scrape together enough work to keep the Servant flying. The results were mixed. We were grounded a few times when something or other broke, but we always made do. As I’ve often said, someone somewhere needs help getting rid of their extra credits.

Crosser's Log #3

Much has changed.

We finally arrived on Coruscant and there, among the great city rising from the plains and forests, we met with the Council. Rasha and I presented Kazem’s notes and Saber, as well as Senator Kern’s crest and the gauntlet we retrieved from Hadrian IV. The mood was dark and, after some back-and-forth with Senior Councilor Pellius regarding whether or not one should delve into the dark side to learn its weapons and methods, we were sent away.

Crosser's Log #2

Rasha and I left the Hadrian system, headed for Coruscant with an intense desire to unload the Sith artifact we found, and get some answers to our questions about the Stranger and the Pit. En route we trained, studying and meditated. I spent some time going over my former master’s notes and exploring the Dark presence that surrounds the gauntlet.

Crosser's Log #1

I’m still working on getting together all the materials to actual make a holographic record, but the recording device on my holocron seems to be working. Hopefully I can come into some funds when we get to Coruscant and get someone to program a gatekeeper for me. For now though, life is … tumultuous.

Casefil #003

Client Name: Jorrus Glint

Case Description: We just had a big payday, so yes, I took H1-R0 and we went shopping. That isn’t important though, what is important is what happened when we got back.Evidently, a courier came by the shop and left a flimsy on the door, it read ‘interested in hiring you, money for us both; meet me at the Smoking Blaster.’ It was signed Jorrus Glint. It strikes me as odd here; we rob the guy, steal his slaves, then he wants to hire us? I suspect it’s a trap, but hes an accpountant; maybe hes just looking at the numbers. Were heading down there tonight, H1-R0 will be there for backup. We’ll see what happens.

Update:It’s a heist. Jorrus wants us to steal a shipment of currency coming from Nal Hutta. Currency belonging to his employers, the Corellian Brotherhood. It’s awkward, to say the least.

Casefile #002
The Favor

Client Name: Carson Black. Fuck.

Case description: One cycle. ONE cycle later, and Black comes in calling in his favor for hooking me up with the information on Gia. I need to start dodging this guy. Anyway, he’s looking for a droid, specifically a droids processor, specifically a Pin number ON the processor, and yet more specifically, the Pin on a processor of a H1-XX model… Just like H1-R0. Evidently, these droids were a limited run, very very rare. What they did was work on high profile cases, and when they did they had special drives inserted into them. Now the drive contained ALL information pertaining to a case for analysis by the droid, testimony and the like. SO once the case was over, or when they weren’t working on it, the drive was ejected and the droid had no knowledge of the case, so no one one could steal it or anything. Well, IF somehow the droid still gets iced, another H1-XX model can read the droids Pin, and then access the information. Other than that, it’s near impossible to get at the info on the drive. Carson has a drive he wants looked at, and if I can find the other droid, nab him Pin so H1-R0 can read the drive, then I make a cool 5K credits. I guess these droids used to be licensed, but now that they aren’t used anymore, they are getting junked. Skies, I need to write this all down just to keep it straight.

Casefile #001

Client Name: Dawn, no last name given

Case description: Dawn is a member of the ‘Broken Sky Sisterhood’ and one of her sisters was evidently taken by pirates, and sold into slavery. Girl seems to have quite a bit of cash, claims she spent most of it figuring out where this Gia gal was, and bad luck for her, it’s Nar Shaddaa.
